Carrie Kirkpatrick is raising money to complete the filming and editing of World War Witches, a dramatised documentary about the British witches and occultists believed to have used magical means to help defend Britain during WWII. Amongst them, Dion Fortune, Aleister Crowley and Gerard Gardner, all of whom would go on to create magical orders, which continue to inspire thousands of practitioners today.
They had one thing in common: they believed in the power of magic. When they found themselves faced with the threat of an imminent Nazi invasion, they knew they had to step up to use their occult knowledge to help defend Britain. They achieved this with rituals, group meditations and angelic invocations, all with the intention of defending the British Isles.
Despite all odds, the invasion never materialised as Hitler changed his plans suddenly. Was this a result of their rituals?

The story of these remarkable individuals and their epic fight against tyranny has never been told in film before. But now is the time for their story to be heard. To date, the occult and pagan community has shown their support in helping to fund the budget. This has enabled us to film a substantial amount of the film so far, but we still need to complete the filming and then edit it.
